Arnaldo Isa, M.D.
Neurologist
This year will be my 23rd year practicing at Neurology Associates. I was Born in Cuba and raised in the Miami area. I subsequently went to college at the University of Florida and graduated in 1988. I stayed at the University of Florida for Medical School. Afterwards, I began my residency at Emory University in Atlanta. I initially did 2 years of Psychiatry before deciding to change career paths and go into Neurology.
I followed my training with a neurophysiology fellowship which focuses on EEG and EMG testing for assorted neurologic diseases. In 1998 my family and I moved to the Orlando area and have been here since.
Our group was very involved with Advent through the years and I held a few leadership roles including co Director of the Stroke service along with my partner, Dr Honeycutt, and I was Chair of the neurology department for 4 years.
Currently I am focused on outpatient neurology. I am able to offer my patients evaluation for multiple neurologic diseases. I have had experience with multiple clinical trials for a range of neurological disorders and also have enjoyed teaching medical students and internal medicine residents from Advent Health.
In my spare time I enjoy family time and occasional travel.
I have enjoyed the opportunity to partner with patients and their families as I get to care for neurologic diseases which are often life changing. My goal is to advocate for my patients so they can receive the best possible care for their conditions.
